UK GAMES EXPO 2025 players playing Where The Feck Is That

Expo Fever, Game Tweaks and Your Chance to Win a Copy!

We hit the UK Games Expo, tested the game with real players, and now YOU can help shape the chaos.

😷 I may have caught a post-Expo virus (cheers, immune system), but before that, I caught a full-on buzz at theĀ UK Games Expo — my very first time showing off Where the Feck Is That?

I was lucky enough to be part of theĀ Playtest Zone (Stand 2-108), run by the brilliant team at Playtest UK. If you’ve never been, it’s a space where designers like me bring games still in development and test them with real players — from curious passers-by to seasoned tabletop pros. It’s all about shaping tomorrow’s games today, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Massive thanks to Rob and the team for being so welcoming, and a big shoutout toĀ Andrew and Brett who helped me navigate my first ever playtest session and expo with patience, support, and a few well-timed laughs.

The feedback was fantastic — players laughed, debated, cringed (in the best way), and a lot of people said they’d buy the game once it’s out. That means the world when you’re a one-woman band powered by tea and determination.

Some players gave really helpful suggestions too. A few colour-blind players found certain superpower cards hard to tell apart, so that’s being fixed to make sure everyone can join the chaos. And a wheelchair user pointed out that one of the ā€œsilly danceā€ challenge cards might not be inclusive — fair point! That card is now optional, and players can choose to sing a silly song instead. Fun should always be accessible.

Since the Expo, I’ve been stopping strangers on the street and asking them some of the game’s rudest-sounding geography questions and posting their reactions on TikTok and Insta. Turns out the UK has a lot of questionable place names, and people are loving it.

Now it’s your turn.

Got a funny town name, cheeky street sign, or trivia-style question that sounds fake as feck?
Send it in — and if we love it, it could be turned into a real card in the final game!

The best suggestion wins a FREE copy of the game when it’s printed.

How to enter:

If we use your question, we’ll give you a shoutoutĀ  or keep it anonymous if you’d rather not have your name next to a place like Muff or Bell End. Fair enough.
